I took an intentional break from blogging and social media activity for the past 6 weeks, and may do so again during lent if not beyond, but this past week I was in Donegal, Republic of Ireland, and managed to be blessed with some rare days of winter sunshine. Having captured a few simple sunny shots, just on my tablet (not my camera) I still thought they were worthy of sharing. The ‘Emerald Isle’ is totally beautiful ANY time of the year…. enjoy!

Church ruins at Malinhead, Co. Donegal, which date back to the 1500s.
The stunning view from “Wee Malin House”at the end of January. It’s a cave at. Malinhead, in which Christian heritage dates back as early as the 1100’s and before.
A wonderful place to pray and ponder…
