Covid 2020 Tales (viii): How the pallet progressed…

ALMOST forgot to post before the week is out.  In the interests of integrity because I said I would, here’s a wee visual of how the pallet effort progressed yesterday. It’s far from perfect, but definitely bespoke.

There’s something very therapeutic and peaceful about creating something.  I thoroughly enjoyed this wee project, after pottering around on it for a few afternoons this week:

(Everything used to make it, including hammer, saw, nails etc, was found at home and I didn’t leave home or spend any money whatsoever on this wee project). Im pretty happy to now have a new seat to sit on in the sun trap during this sunny weather we’ve been  having amidst lockdown.

Even if this whole thing does just continue to feel really quite surreal. Or is that just me?

Time for those not on the physical frontlines to rest.
